Census (LAITSC) web site. Please read this page carefully. The LAITSC is owned and operated
by the Louisiana Technology Council (“LTC ", "our", "us"). As the site owner, the LTC may

The LTC respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to the LAITSC web site.
The LTC strongly believes that if electronic commerce and online activities are to flourish,
users must be assured that information provided online is used responsibly and appropriately.
To protect online privacy, the LTC has implemented the following policy.
What Information Does LAITSC Web Site Collect?
Most data the LAITSC collects are used only to help the LTC better serve its members and
the technology community of Louisiana. It is our general policy to collect and store only
personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. If our privacy policies
change, we will notify all users by e-mail or a special announcement placed on the Web site.
From general users, the LAITSC site does not collect any personal information from users
browsing its Web site. Users to the public areas of LAITSC web site browse anonymously.
Only aggregate data -- such as the number of hits per page--are collected. Aggregate data
are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally
identifying information.
Users who consent to complete to the LAITSC survey will be linked to a dedicated survey
site owned and operated by Survey Monkey.com Corporation. No identifiable personal data
will be collected during the survey, and no personal data will be maintained by

How Does The LTC Use Data Collected?
The LTC uses information voluntarily submitted by members and other users of the LAITSC
web site to advance technology in the state of Louisiana. The LTC, in the course of its
mission, may aggregate survey information and make it available in aggregate form to
third parties. No personal information or information that can be personally identified
will be disclosed to any third party.
How Does the LAITSC Web Site Use Cookies?
Cookies are files that contain information created by a web server that can be stored
on a User's hard disk for use either during a particular session ("per-session" cookie)
or for future use ("persistent" cookie). The LAITSC web site itself does not use cookies.
What Privacy Issues Arise With Links To Other Sites?
This Web site contains links to other web sites, notably SurveyMonkey.com. If a user
initiates a survey, the survey provider, SurveyMonkey.com does use cookies to ensure the
integrity of the survey responses. The LTC has no control over and is not responsible for
the privacy policies or content of other sites.
What about information from children?
The LTC does not intend to collect information from children. The LTC is committed
to the safety of children and we do not intend to collect personally identifiable information
from children under age 18. The LTC will not intentionally use personal information from or
send communications to children under age 18.
